Description
Read-a-Rama programming is organized around themes. This course introduces you to our thematic approach to camp planning. In addition to this learning path, we've also prepared for you a theme-based curriculum that you can search in the Resources section of the learning portal.
You'll have the opportunity to explore these resources, as well as participate in discussions involving themes and community, activities, guest speakers, and field trips.
We've also included several Mindful Minutes in this course, a practice you may choose to include in your camps as well - you can find them all in the Resources section!
And finally, we introduce the RaR Activity Plan as a template you can use to start putting your camp together - feel free to download and use it as a guide, or use your own format. You will be asked to upload your document as your assignment to complete this course.
