Description
Read-a-Rama supports neurodiverse and inclusive programming. This course introduces our approach to inclusion for diverse populations, including learning differences and disabilities. We advocate for strength-based support and universal design for learning, and promote multiple means of representation.
You'll have the opportunity to participate in discussions involving sensory needs as well as practical applications around modifying favorite camp songs and activities to ensure they are inclusive.
We've also included more Mindful Minutes in this course for you to practice, to strengthen your own practice as well as rehearsing for doing them at camp.
You'll be asked once more to update your RaR Activity Plan, ensuring that your camp activities are inclusive. You will be asked to upload your document as your assignment to complete this course.
